  1. 1. Survey the path and the stand or wall

Measure doorways and turns before you unbox. Confirm the stand, console, or wall location can take the weight. If wall-mount hardware and authorization are not in the order, do not improvise anchors.

  2. 2. Carry the carton upright with two people

Use the carton handles or straps. Call the turns. Do not rest the carton on a stair tread and slide it — that punches the screen from behind.

  3. 3. Unbox on a blanket, screen up or on-edge

  4. 4. Assemble the stand and set the panel with a helper

  5. 5. Route cables so the set cannot be pulled over

  6. 6. Power on, check the panel, and haul the carton

Tools

  • TV carrying straps or a two-person carton grip
  • Soft blankets — never place a screen face-down on a hard surface
  • Stud finder, carried only for stops where wall-mount work is authorized
  • Manufacturer stand hardware
  • Microfiber cloth

Safety tips

  • Never grab a TV by the screen or the bottom edge of the panel.
  • Keep the carton upright; tipping a large panel cracks the frame.
  • Do not lean a bare TV against a wall without a pad behind it.
  • Wall mounting is a separate authorization. If it is not on the order with rated hardware, do not improvise anchors.
