Service area zip codes.

Professional Information

Equipment types, service capabilities, and service area radius.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Matching carriers with 3PL opportunities
• Verifying carrier credentials via FMCSA
• Sending match notifications and platform communications
• Improving platform functionality
• Analytics (via Vercel Analytics)

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

For users subject to GDPR, we process your data under the following bases:

• Legitimate interest — matching and platform operation
• Contract performance — account operation and service delivery
• Consent — marketing communications

4. What We Share With Other Users

Basic profile information (company name, verification status, service area, equipment, capabilities) is visible to all authenticated users for browsing and matching. Detailed contact information (business email, owner name, EIN, FMCSA-sourced physical address) is shared between a 3PL and a carrier only after the carrier expresses interest on that 3PL's opportunity. By expressing interest, both parties consent to the exchange of business contact details for that connection.

• FMCSA — verification lookups using your USDOT number
• Hosting providers — Render, Vercel
• Analytics — Vercel Analytics

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.).

6. Do Not Sell or Share

CarrierLinq does not sell or share your personal information. To exercise your rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, or opt out, contact us at the address below.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for session management and analytics tracking via Vercel Analytics. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will process your request within 30 days. Data is purged within 90 days of account deletion.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed in the United States via Render (hosting) and Vercel (frontend/analytics). For users in the European Economic Area, data transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses maintained by our service providers.

10. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS), securely hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. While we implement industry-standard measures, no system is completely secure.

11. Your Rights

12. Marketing Communications

Children

CarrierLinq is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
